Happy Thanksgiving 2006!

We have so much to be thankful for these days, our freedom to speak, read, write, vote, etc. and I feel very passionate about my freedoms. As a single woman raising my children for over the past 20 years, I have become use to making all the decisions myself and living with the good and bad results. It has been no different for me than for you or anyone else who makes decisions every day. We make some good ones and make some bad ones. Luckily for me, I have made some good ones and have surprised myself.
All of the children will be home today for Thanksgiving today, which just makes this holiday even more special. I have so much to do and need more time (which I never have enough of). There are two holidays which I request my children to be at, one is my birthday and the other is Thanksgiving. Both are special to me and only require their presence and no presents. I love their company and we always have a good time playing games at Thanksgiving time. Spoons and Scrable are the favorites around here and last year we added an interactive video game called "Scene It". We love it and get very competitive.
Well I need to get going - hope all enjoy this wonderous day - it is about 75 degrees here, sunny and warm and just beautiful. We have so much to be happy about and hope you do too, (one of my thankful thoughts is of tomorrow-we have the day off and I may just enjoy the day reading a book, walking at the beach-and drinking in the ocean air, having a Starbucks cup of coffee, etc.), here's hoping you are enjoying your day too. Now go eat your turkey!
